Wildlife Safaris & Royal Heritage
Embark on an unforgettable journey through India's renowned Golden Triangle, combined with the thrilling wildlife experience of Ranthambhore. This meticulously crafted tour offers a perfect blend of cultural heritage, architectural marvels, and natural beauty.
Your adventure begins in Delhi, the vibrant capital city, where you'll explore iconic landmarks such as the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, and India Gate — a city where empires have risen and fallen across three millennia.
Travel to Agra for a sunrise encounter with the Taj Mahal — one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Agra Fort's red sandstone ramparts and the delicate 'Baby Taj' (Itimad-ud-Daulah) complete an extraordinary day in the city the Mughals loved most.
Continue to Ranthambhore National Park, one of India's premier tiger reserves. Morning and afternoon jeep safaris take you deep into the jungle in search of the Bengal tiger — along with leopards, sloth bears, nilgai, and over 300 species of birds. The ancient fort looming over the forest adds a dramatic backdrop unique in the world.
The tour concludes in Jaipur, the Pink City, where Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal tell the story of the Rajput kings who shaped this state. The bazaars of Johari and Bapu offer the finest gems, textiles, and blue pottery in Rajasthan.
What makes this journey special
Your journey, unfolded
Welcome to India! Your Discover India representative meets you at the airport and transfers you to your hotel. The afternoon is free to explore Connaught Place or browse Janpath Market for souvenirs. A gentle introduction to the city before the sightseeing begins tomorrow.
A full day exploring both Old and New Delhi. Begin at Qutub Minar (12th-century UNESCO minaret), then Humayun's Tomb — the architectural prototype of the Taj Mahal. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament to India Gate. Cross the centuries into Old Delhi: the Red Fort, Jama Masjid (one of South Asia's largest mosques), Raj Ghat memorial, and a classic rickshaw ride through the spice lanes of Chandni Chowk.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Agra (about 3–4 hours). Visit the imposing Agra Fort — a UNESCO Heritage site and Mughal stronghold — and the exquisite Itimad-ud-Daulah's Tomb (the 'Baby Taj'), whose delicate marble inlay is considered the Taj's architectural prototype. Evening: watch the Taj Mahal turn amber at sunset from the gardens of Mehtab Bagh across the Yamuna River.
Rise early for the most celebrated view in India — the Taj Mahal at dawn, when the white marble blushes pink in the first light and the grounds are almost empty. After breakfast and checkout, drive south through Rajasthan to Ranthambhore National Park — a journey of about 3 hours through flat farmland and scrub jungle. Check in to your jungle resort and, if time permits, enjoy a guided nature walk around the property before dinner.
A full day in one of India's finest tiger reserves. The morning jeep safari enters the park at first light — the best time to spot the Bengal tiger patrolling its territory. Return for breakfast, then visit the magnificent 10th-century Ranthambhore Fort — a UNESCO-listed hilltop fortress that has watched over this jungle for a thousand years. The afternoon safari offers a second opportunity to track tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and the park's extraordinary birdlife.
Morning optional nature walk before checkout and driving north to Jaipur — a scenic 3-hour journey through Rajasthan's rocky terrain and roadside villages. Arrive in the Pink City by lunchtime. The afternoon is free to explore the old walled city at your own pace — a stroll along the terracotta-pink walls, chai at a rooftop café, and an evening visit to Johari Bazaar.
A full day in the Pink City. Begin at Amber Fort — ascend by jeep to this hilltop Rajput fortress and explore the dazzling Sheesh Mahal and palatial courts. Descend to the City Palace, still home to the Jaipur royal family, then the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. Afternoon: the iconic five-storey Hawa Mahal before an evening in Bapu Bazaar for block-print fabrics, silver, and blue pottery.
A relaxed final morning in Jaipur — time for any last-minute shopping or a stroll before your driver transfers you to Jaipur International Airport for your onward flight. Or extend your journey from Jaipur to Jodhpur, Udaipur, or Jaisalmer for further Rajasthan exploration.

Your questions, answered
No wildlife safari can guarantee a tiger sighting — this is wild nature. However, Ranthambhore has one of India's highest tiger densities and a strong record of sightings. With two safaris your chances are excellent. Even without a tiger, the park rewards with leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, 300+ bird species, and the magnificent Ranthambhore Fort.
October to March is ideal across all destinations — comfortable temperatures, clear skies, and the best conditions for sightseeing and outdoor activities. We strongly advise against travelling April–June due to extreme heat (40°C+), and July–September brings monsoon rains.
