Cultural Heritage & Himalayan Splendour

Embark on an enchanting 8-day journey blending India's most celebrated cultural monuments with the breathtaking natural beauty of Kashmir — a tour that takes you from Mughal grandeur to meadows backed by snow-capped peaks.

Begin in Delhi, where three millennia of history unfold across the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, and the vibrant chaos of Chandni Chowk. Then travel to Jaipur, the Pink City, where Amber Fort, City Palace, and Hawa Mahal transport you into the world of the Rajput Maharajas.

In Agra, the Taj Mahal at sunrise is the centrepiece — the single most photographed and yet still wholly surprising sight in India. The imposing Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri's UNESCO ghost city extend a day already laden with extraordinary architecture.

From there, fly to Srinagar — the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, set on the shores of Dal Lake at 1,585 metres above sea level. A Shikara (traditional wooden boat) ride at dawn on the lake, past floating vegetable markets and lotus gardens, is one of the most ethereal experiences in Indian travel. The Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh — planted by Emperor Jahangir in the 17th century frame the lake perfectly.

Day trips to Pahalgam — the valley of shepherds — and Gulmarg — where a gondola cable car rises to 3,979 metres for panoramic Himalayan views — complete a Kashmir experience of extraordinary natural richness.

Your questions, answered

Kashmir is generally safe for tourists and receives hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. The Kashmir Valley — particularly Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam — is a well-developed tourist destination with good infrastructure and a welcoming local culture. We monitor the situation closely and maintain contacts with our on-ground team in Srinagar. We will advise you promptly if there are any concerns about your travel dates, and our flexible booking policy allows rescheduling if needed.

Spring (April–June) brings blooming gardens, mustard fields, and pleasant temperatures (15–25°C) — the classic Kashmir experience. Summer (July–August) is warm and green. Autumn (September–October) turns the chinar trees flame-red and gold — arguably the most beautiful season. Winter (November–February) brings heavy snowfall to Gulmarg, making it India's premier ski destination. The Golden Triangle portion of this tour is best October–March, so we recommend an October or early November departure to enjoy both regions at their best.

October to March is ideal — comfortable temperatures across all destinations, clear skies, and optimal sightseeing conditions. We strongly advise against April–June (extreme heat) and July–September (monsoon). Our specialists can advise on the ideal timing for your specific combination of destinations.

Most nationalities can apply for an Indian e-Visa online at indianvisaonline.gov.in. Processing takes 3–5 business days and costs $25–$80 USD. Apply at least 2 weeks before travel.

Yes — our tours work well for families with children aged 6 and above. We can adjust the pace, add family-friendly activities, and ensure child-friendly meals. Please mention children's ages when enquiring so we can tailor the itinerary accordingly.

Cancellations 60+ days before departure: full refund minus a small admin fee. 30–59 days: 75% refund. 15–29 days: 50% refund. Under 15 days: no refund. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Full terms are provided with your booking confirmation.
