Kashmir tour with Leh Ladakh

Enjoy breakfast in the morning and later proceed for sightseeing tour of Srinagar city covering Mughal Garden – A group of 3 Garden Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh and Chasme Sahi, Hazratbal Mosque – an important religious site which houses relics related to Prophet Muhammad, Shankracharya Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located on hilltop of Zabarwan mountains. Afternoon enjoy Shikara ride in Dal Lake which will take you through Nehru Park & floating markets. While on Shikara you can see vendors selling flower seeds, Handicraft Items, jewellery and you can also get your photo clicked in traditional Kashmiri dress. Return back to hotel in the evening.

After breakfast at hotel, proceed on a full day excursion to Gulmarg – The Meadow of Flowers. Gulmarg lays 52 Kms west of Srinagar and is a popular skiing destination among domestic and international tourist. The scenic drive to Gulmarg will take you through Apple orchards, Pine and Fir forest. Upon arrival take a walk or hire a pony to reach Gulmarg Gondola (Cable Car) station. You can take Gondola ride for Phase 1 and phase 2 (at your own cost and subject to weather conditions) and visit Khilanmarg snow point by pony. Other places you can visit are Gulmrag Gold Course and Rani Temple. Return back to Srinagar in the evening.

After Breakfast at hotel start your drive to Kargil. Enroute stop at Sonamarg – located at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level. Sonamarg means “meadow of gold” is a beautiful town with vast meadows and snow clad mountains. You can visit Thajiwas Glacier by Pony which remains snow clad throughout the year. Continue drive to Kargil. Visit Kargil War Memorial at Drass to pay tribute to heros who lost their life during kargil war. Arrive and checkin at Hotel.

Morning after breakfast at hotel checkout and drive to Leh. Enroute visit Lamayuru monastery, Confluence of Indus and Zanskar, Magnatic Hill and Hall of Fame. Arrive Leh and check-in at hotel.

After breakfast drive to Khardung-la Pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 5600 meters. The views from the top of the pass are amazing. After capturing good pics at the drop drive down to Leh. Afternoon we take you for a tour of Leh city visiting Sankar Gompa, Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace.
