Besides, this place is so vast that there exists a www (whole wonder world) within its boundaries, such as a museum, a shop selling vintage items, a sprawling garden and then cultural.
In other words, when the golden rays from sun fall and reflect on the golden sand of thar desert,the glimpse becomes intensely surreal. The place exudes a mesmerising impression through an amalgamation of myriad hues which appear naturally in its traditional bazaars while the city is itself inundated in blue shade across its frontiers, which is considered to be the signature-blessing of lord Shiva.
Umaid Bhavan – Opulent Umaid Bhavan evokes a sense of royal pride among the tourists as they can stary at its Royal Palace Hotel like a stately dignitary. Some part of Umaid Bhavan is still used by the descendants with royal Rajputi blood. However, staying at the hotel is not supposed to be pocked friendly costing $600 per night, but then you can taste the royal delicacy at any of the restaurants located inside the sprawling mansion and can thus stroll on the squeaky floors. Then, there is established a museum which stores old photos of Maharaja and his family, items used by them, a vast collection of stately clock and a few cars from past century.
Jaswant Thada – This is basically a tomb but without any grave that was built by Jaswant Singh, with a gorgeous amalgamation of glass, metal and wood carvings covering every inch of the monument, which testifies the towering architectural genius of Rajputs. Not to skip the mention about explicit marble flooring from past centuries which takes breathe away and then, premium walls is decked with portraits of Rathore rulers commanding influence at the time. Furthermore, the sprawling lawn enclosed by lush greenery inspires one to simply relax and recover from pleasure-infested fatigue.
Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park – With a stretch of over 200 acres, Rao Jodha Rock Park happens to be a supreme location to ramble and revel the nature’s uniqueness. Estimate tells there are more than 80 species of rock-specific plants in this thar desert, which is truly a treasure for ecology and botany students and researchers. More so, the foliage undergoes a change with the change in season and a memorable walking experience of a lifetime. Besides, there is a walking path strategically constructed for the tourists who are unable to climb and descend the giant rocks.
